Prof Raghavan donated the telescope which Dr. Nirupama Raghavan used for astronomical observations to SPACE. for the project "Traveling Telescope" started in memory of Dr. Nirupama Raghavan. This traveling telescope will be a tool to show skies to the rural school kids and masses who don't have access to any astronomical instrument. More details about the project will soon be put on the site.

Moon's colour is white It reflects sunlight It is Earth's natural satellite It gives us light in the night Tides are caused due to the Moon If it is low now,it will be high soon The moon plays hide and seek withy the stars I wish I could capture it in bars There is low gravity there You will weigh 6 times less thjan here It has craters on its surface When you it looks like a spotted face It does not shine in the noon But still it is a boon

We can't see the moon in the noon. Because of the light We can't find The moon is good When it hood Between sun and earth It causes solar eclipses When earth stood Between the sun and the moon It effects lunar eclipses Thats all about moon!
