"Dr. Raghavan's Travelling Telescope Project"

Prof Raghavan donated the telescope which Dr. Nirupama Raghavan used for astronomical observations to SPACE. for the project "Traveling Telescope" started in memory of Dr. Nirupama Raghavan. This traveling telescope will be a tool to show skies to the rural school kids and masses who don't have access to any astronomical instrument. More details about the project will soon be put on the site.
Queen of the night-MOON

Moon's colour is white
It reflects sunlight
It is Earth's natural satellite
It gives us light in the night
Tides are caused due to the Moon
If it is low now,it will be high soon
The moon plays hide and seek withy the stars
I wish I could capture it in bars
There is low gravity there
You will weigh 6 times less thjan here
It has craters on its surface
When you it looks like a spotted face
It does not shine in the noon
But still it is a boon

The moon is good When it hood
Between sun and earth It causes solar eclipses
When earth stood Between the sun and the moon
It effects lunar eclipses Thats all about moon!
